ABOUT US
The woodwinds program at Washington Adventist University will lay the groundwork you need to be successful in today’s musical climate. As a student, your instrument – and your mastery of it – will be at the heart of your studies.

Small studio sizes allow for close work and mentorship with your teacher from day one. The unrivaled woodwind faculty are active, accomplished musicians, meaning they bring with them the perspectives from the current professional world. Performance opportunities at WAU abound. In the Department of Music, participation in large and chamber music ensembles is an integral part of the curriculum, as are recitals.

The undergraduate woodwinds degree program offers a Bachelor of Music Performance, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music Therapy, and Music Minor with a concentration in flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone or bassoon.
